DON’T feed your parakeet chips, pretzels, cookies, and chocolate. DON’T take your parakeet outside of the cage, if the window or door is open. DON’T let your parakeet out of the cage if he/she does not trust you and your parakeet may end up with many broken bones by flying and smacking into the walls Do give your bird fresh water and parakeet food every day. DO clean their cage every 2 months. DO let your parakeet chew on things in his/her cage so your feathered friend can sharpen there beak.
